When it comes to the NPC's, did you know that if you run far enough away from them they will teleport to you? Granted that you might be running against a timer if you were unlucky enough to roll the 'mission has a five minute time limit' but we'll assume you dont for now. on the NPC we rescue loves to run right into that mist and just die over and over and over and over again :( They need to swap that to that other super tyranid on the rescue because the A.I. That octopus runs over dies, then the rescue person runs into the octopus and dies in the gas or whatever coming out of the giant octopus tyranid. I would suggest running gear-up missions like the DLC Maelstrom of Carnage which will giveyou some good relic drop chance. Also, there are missions that raise the level of subsequent missions on completion, sound like you were running the last mission at +5 (?) which is hard if not geared correctly.
